Cherry on Top in the
Hero Undercover Anthology

What I want to do to your body, is illegal in fifteen states.

Blurb:

Cherry Donovan has a problem. No, it’s not her annoying big brother who still thinks he should swoop in and rescue her from everything. She’s twenty-two and can take care of herself. It’s not the few extra pounds she carries or her technologically challenged brain that won’t help her figure out how to change a ring tone on her cell phone. It’s not even her asshole-ex-boyfriend who may or may not be the one smashing her packages and leaving her weird messages in the mail and on her phone.

No. It’s the hunky, drool-worthy, make you want to drop the icing spatula and lick him instead best friend of her older brother. Jacob is staying with her for the week. Why? She doesn’t know. But she’s falling for him—hard and fast. Like slipping on a patch of meringue and landing flat on your back. Only this is going to hurt more. Why is he there? And could she pay him to change her ringtone for her?

Army Sergeant, Jacob Pye is still reeling from the fall-out of losing two of his squad members. Now, during some mandatory get your head back on straight time off, he’s on an undercover mission to check on his best friend’s younger sister. The mission: Go in and assess the situation; protect the sexy, young woman; neutralize the enemy. Most importantly—don’t let Cherry know that he’s there to protect her. Oh, and then there’s the hardest part of the mission. Don’t fall for the gorgeous woman who is strong enough to finally make him feel human again. She makes him laugh.

Excerpt:

“Ganache.” She croaked, her throat dry, her mouth not seeming to want to work properly.

“Ganache. This right here.” He held the spatula in front of her, not touching her. But she couldn’t have moved anyway. “The stuff you threw at my head.” His eyebrow cocked.

Clearing her throat she tried to get a handle on her rapid heartbeat, as he handed her the bowl.

“Do you know what I do to little girls who don’t play nice, and who get Daddy all messy for his customers?”

“Oh God.”

“No, just Daddy or Sir, whichever you prefer, young lady.”

“I like naughty girl,” she whispered. She couldn’t believe she was doing this. Heck, why not? She reached her fingers into the bowl, scraping a tiny bit onto her fingers, and then ran it down his stubbled cheek, down his neck, and then wiped her finger across his tan t-shirt with two long strokes.“You are such a naughty little girl.” He took the bowl out of her hands and set it on the sink, and quickly turned her around so her belly was against the sink. “Daddy’s going to punish you for that.”

Seeing Ronnie
Romancing the Coast, Book 1

Part beauty, part beast, Ronnie needs to be tamed. Del knows just how to do that.

Publisher:      Blushing Books
Release date: March 29, 2017
Genre: Contemporary, DD, paranormal romance

Blurb:
As a social blogger, Ronnie Flynn—aloof, beautiful, cool as a cucumber—is desperate to get to the society event of the year: Simon and Sadie’s engagement party on Seguro Island. No surprise that her name isn’t on the guest list, but as always, Ronnie has a backup plan. A plan that involves the handsome Del Franklin.

Del agrees to a swap: Ronnie gives him the scoop on his estranged wife’s dirty secrets and he takes her as his date to his boss’s party. The handsome, buff man of Italian descent makes only one condition: Ronnie better be good. No snooping. No manipulating. No digging for dirt. Or else.

With crossed fingers, and in spite of Del’s threat of putting her over his knee for disobeying, Ronnie ‘promises’ to be a good girl. Right. She’s not worried about Del. Her code of Keeping a Healthy Distance will protect her heart, and her backside. She’s too wily to get caught, anyway.

Ronnie sees. Literally. She can channel people’s feelings and see into their hearts. All her life, she has been hiding this secret weapon—her psychic ability—because what she sees is often too hard understand and impossible to share. If she can handle that secret, surely she can handle Del. Or can she? He’s not like anyone else. Nothing has prepared her for him. She shouldn’t react like this to his dominance. She’s an independent, wealthy woman in her own right. No man will tell her what to do. Yet, there is something about this sexy dominant Latin lover that makes her pulse race.

Will Ronnie allow Del to break her Code of Keeping a Healthy Distance? Will seeing Ronnie open Del’s eyes to a new world? Will the two of them ever see life the same way?

Publishers’ note: Seeing Ronnie is intended for adults only. Spanking and other sexual activities represented in this book are fantasies only, intended for adults. Nothing in this book should be interpreted as Blushing Books’ or the author’s advocating any non-consensual spanking activity or spanking of minors.

Excerpt:
When you’re with me you will be polite and well mannered. Agreed?”

“Agreed.” Ronnie nodded soberly to show her good intentions, but under the table she crossed her fingers.

“You better mean that.” Del drained his coffee cup and levelled his eyes at her. “Because if I catch you prying or snooping—doing anything outside the bounds of good manners—there will be consequences.”

“Consequences?” Ronnie licked a drop of tea off her lips.

“Serious consequences.” The corner of his mouth lifted in a crooked smile. “I will turn you over my knee and paddle your bottom until you beg me to stop. And then I will spank you some more. Do I make myself clear?”

“You do,” Ronnie whispered. A damp flutter clenched between her legs and she pressed her knees together as if she could lock out the desire that suddenly sent her blood boiling. No one had ever threatened her like that before. Worse still, it was as though he was the one with the gift of second sight, as if he’d read her secret intention to ignore everything he’d just said. She glanced over her shoulder to see if anyone might have heard his sultry caution. No one was paying them any attention.

The very worst part was that she had no idea how she was going to turn off the part of her personality that wanted to know everything about everybody. She’d been accused of living through the dramas of other people’s lives and there was more truth to that than she cared to admit. Her own life was dishwater dull and she kept it that way so she had energy for her work as gossip queen. More importantly she kept her life orderly so that there was no mud that could be slung her way. She twisted her tea cup to avoid looking at Del.

“One last problem.” Del spoke as calmly as if he hadn’t just suggested the most erotic thing anyone had put to Ronnie in ten years or so. “I haven’t made a booking and I’m sure every hotel and B&B on the island will be full by now.”

“I have a place we can stay.” Ronnie forced coolness into her voice. She didn’t say it’s a fabulous place and it’s for sale. She’d only seen it in pictures but if it was half as good in real life, she planned to buy it. That was her secret and she wasn’t sharing it with anyone. She held her expression impassive.

“You’ve got a place on Seguro?”

“I wish. This place belongs to friends, but we can use it this weekend. I also have ferry reservations to get us there.” Even if she didn’t get an invitation to the Jacobson bash, she’d planned a weekend on the island to test drive the lake house.

Del lifted an eyebrow. “Separate rooms?”

“Absolutely. I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

The memory of the warmth and strength of his hand in hers made her think that sharing a bed with Del Franklin might be pleasurable. The idea of being turned over his knee made her legs tremble. But none of that was going anywhere. She indulged herself in little fantasies from time to time, but she never acted on them.

Ronnie had sworn off men a long time ago.

Personal Post- Can you have it both ways?

The Alpha Hubby and the Compassionate Guy— Can you have both?

This question reared its ugly head when I killed the tractor today. LOL, okay, I didn’t kill the tractor. But I did single-handedly cause between two and three hundred dollars worth of damage to the thing on the back of the tractor (Daddy Hubby just informed me it is called a box blade).

Here’s the thing. We were clearing out a section of leaves, and smoothing out the ground for a nice little spot in the woods for a treehouse for the kids. Back and forth, I went. Up and down with the back thing (box blade); pulling leaves, and extra dirt and small limbs over to the sides.

Then he asked me to help push a tree stump over. He instructed me to back that thing up, and lift the box blade higher so it would push at a different angle than if it were from the lowest setting. So I did.

The whole top part bent.

DH started making those really yucky looks with his eyes that said, “Oh my f***ing God, what did you do to our baby?” That’s what his eyes said. His voice said some really bad words, muttered under his breath. Along with a lot of head shaking. (for the record, I am the only potty mouth in our family. He is the laid back, kind, non-potty mouthed, good influence on our kids, parent)

I started crying. You know. Lower lip trembling, eyes tearing up. Trying not to cry, because you feel bad enough and you know the kids are just on the other side of the trees. I looked pitiful. I felt pitiful. I broke my tractor.

But did my loving, amazing Daddy/Hubby give me nurturing cuddles or “That’s okay, sweet girl. It was my fault for not explaining things better…”?

No!

He calmly gave me whatfor for not knowing to stop before the thing bent up. (along with a few more mutterings about how much money it was going to cost).

Then I got angry. Very angry. With tears still streaming down my face, I told him exactly what I thought of his stupid plan to take out a tree stump. And how the hell could he expect me—a brand new tractor driver who has mostly only mowed the fields with it—to know how to take out a stump without killing a back thing?

I was furious. Mostly at him for not being more compassionate—he should have taken at least half the responsibility. I was untrained for this kind of task, and should not have to be held accountable for not understanding what he wanted. Yeah, it was his fault! I told him all of that while trying to rub my sore eyes with dried-out and dirty hands.

His response was much calmer and clearer. “It’s common sense. If you have something high up, and it starts bending and pushing up more, stop. “

So I burst into tears again. My husband was insinuating I had no common sense?

I have commons sense.

< Don’t walk alone after dark

< Don’t drink and drive

< Monitor the kids’ social media

< Bring a sweater or jacket, just in case it gets cold.

< etc..

Common sense. Yes, I get it! And I do have some of that in my highly creative, sometimes flighty personality.

But do I have engineering common sense?

Who screwed up the third grade toothpick bridge, for both kids?

Who can’t figure out how to get the Wii working on the right channel?

Who does not attempt any of the fun science experiments that involve building something?

Me!

Because when it comes to tech, or building something, or doing something with heavy machinery, it’s not my forte! That’s a different kind of common sense. And I don’t have it. So I shouldn’t be blamed for killing the tractor. He knew better!

LOL, I told him all of that, and that I was angry that he wasn’t apologizing.

He held me in his arms right there in the middle of the forest, right next to the busted tractor, and told me it would be all right. We could get a new part for the top.

He also told me he understood I was upset, but it was time to get over it, and finish the rest of our land clearing. Grrr! Still a tad angry, I took my frustration out on the rest of the leaves and dirt, this time leaving a huge space around the evil tree stump.

It got me to thinking. Why was he being such a mean jerk? Why couldn’t he just apologize? Why wouldn’t he take responsibility, or at the very least tell me it wasn’t all my fault that I almost killed my tractor.

It took me a few hours, and getting away from the scene, finally, to come to a new realization.

I wanted my husband to be the perfect HOH, or the perfect Daddy Dom, or the perfect hubby. I wanted him to always be strong and push me to my limits. But I also wanted him to turn on a dime, and be overly compassionate and extra sweet and take all the blame when I did something that made me feel bad.

That’s what I do in the stories I write. It’s what I like in the books I read. It’s a little too perfect for real life, though.

My final realization was that he was treating me like an equal. If he didn’t respect me, or if he thought I was just an idiot with no common sense, he would have taken the responsibility on himself. He wouldn’t have been so angry, if he hadn’t truly been blindsided by my abilities. This means he has faith in me.

He always tells me that—that he knows I can do anything I put my mind to.

On some levels, it’s annoying. Sometimes, I want Daddy Hubby to take over.

But does he need to?

All the time?

No. I would hate it. And he realizes this.

For the record, he came home and hugged me, smacked my bottom for not hugging him back, and told me, “I feel worse about you feeling bad.” (it was the closest I was getting to an apology, so I took it.)

“Good.” Was my grumbled reply.

Then we laughed and hugged again, and it was over.

We’ll get that part fixed at some point. But for now, we can move on.

He still has to fix my first attempt at a toothpick bridge with my daughter.

I can’t have it both ways. And realistically, I guess I don’t want it both ways. But I do love the combination on occasion.

Hugs and blessings ❤

New Author Showcase! Deliah Grace

I am so excited to have brand, spanking, new author, Delia Grace here today for an interview. I haven’t done these in a while, and really miss them. I can’t wait to introduce you to Deliah. 🙂

(sorry for the formatting. WP is killing me today! 😦 )

Interview with Deliah Grace

Katherine Deane:  What made you decide to write a book?
Deliah Grace: I have loved reading and writing since I was 6 and read my first chapter book on my own. (The Boxcar Children!) I remember making up fantastical stories for my siblings, that funnily enough always seemed to end with naughty bottoms getting spanked soundly. 😉
Once I started reading the “Spanko Genre” I always had a desire to add my own story to the mix, but had a lot of self-doubt and self-discipline issues. That’s where others came in and stood beside me, sometimes kicking my butt when needed, and said “you’re going to do this!” And… I did! 🙂 It took me about 4 months from start to finish – and then edits – but I did it!
Katherine Deane:  I loved the Boxcar Children, and have totally had spanking day dreams from my “big brothers”. 🙂
Why erotic romance?
Deliah Grace: I have wanted spanking in my stories since I started reading. I would earmark pages in books, write down quotes, take books from the library shelves to read and reread my favorite parts, so once I found out there were entire genres dedicated to my passion, weeeeell… *blush* And secondarily, I really feel like God created sex to be enjoyed, and I love writing books that celebrate that fact.
Katherine Deane:  What are your favorite genres to read?
Deliah Grace: Spanko books! *laugh* But otherwise I enjoy memoirs and biographies, romantic dramas, courtroom type books, some young adult fantasy! My favorite non-spanko authors are Tamora Pierce, Jodi Picoult, and Ilona Andrews.
Katherine Deane:  Do you do any of the stuff you write about? 😉
Deliah Grace: All of it. *grin* Except for the orgasms through intercourse there is nothing in my books that we haven’t tried to some extent. I live a 24/7 (ish) DD lite lifestyle. I love it.
Katherine Deane:  Awesome!  I like the authenticity that comes from real life beta’ing a scene.
How long did this first project take from start to finish? Was it about how long you expected?
Deliah Grace: So, like I said it was 4 months of writing it, and then another 3 months for edits, cover, formatting, etc until it was released! I felt like 4 months was fast to write an entire book, but then the edits and stuff felt like forever.
Katherine Deane:  Great job!
What was your favorite thing about writing your first book?
Deliah Grace: Getting to write exactly what I wanted to read. I like to laugh. I love brats and sass. I love witty comebacks and making fun of cliches, and I got to do all of that in my book.
Katherine Deane:  What was your least favorite thing about writing your first book?
Deliah Grace: Edits. I hated editing it so bad. I learned a lot, and I feel like it has helped me writing book two, but edits were killer.
Katherine Deane:  I feel that way with edits too. It’s kind of like a super hard workout.
What’s next ?
Deliah Grace: Affirming Antoinette! I finished this week, and am working on edits and getting it to my betas now! It’s Toni’s story and although it didn’t go as I planned I really feel like her voice is being heard in a good way. There are a lot of surprises even I didn’t know when I started writing it!
Katherine Deane: Yay! I can’t wait. I really liked her, and know her story will be amazing! Congratulations again, Author, Deliah Grace.
And thanks for stopping by to chat with me.

Blurb:

Bernie Douglas has spent her entire life feeling inferior. She has never been the perfect weight, had the perfect IQ, or caught the perfect guy. She has always been surrounded by beautiful people, high achievers and success, but she herself has decided she is destined to settle for her own mediocrity. So the day she is pulled over as she tries to multitask while driving, she isn’t truly shocked. However, the moment she meets the eyes of the policeman standing outside her car window, her entire life is turned upside down.

Bernie knows that Officer Levi Jackson is everything she is not; handsome, successful, and has the Midas touch. Everything he touches seems to flourish, and yet Bernie cannot accept that he truly wants her. No matter how she fights against his hold, she finds herself falling more and more in love with his overwhelming dominance and tender care.

Levi comes from a tight-knit family, his parents and siblings giving not only encouragement and support to one another, but helping those who come to their camp to learn that they are not worthless, that they all can fulfill their dreams. After a routine traffic stop, unable to stop thinking about the feisty, curvy woman behind the wheel, he learns that she wasn’t quite as honest with him as she’d promised. Despite her bravado, he sees a woman who is uncertain, not only about her physical appearance but about her very worth. He wants nothing more than to hold her close and teach her that she is exactly what he has been searching for his entire life… even if he has to hold her over his knees and redden her rear until she knows how very much she is loved.

Will his patient encouragement and consistent discipline be exactly what Bernie needs to get out of her rut? Or is she truly too broken to be of any use to anyone?

DISCLAIMER: This book contains the spanking of adult women and sexual scenes. It also deals with the desire to self-harm in the form of cutting. If any of these themes offend you, please do not purchase.

Sexy DD from Libby Campbell

Hey y’all! Libby Campbell is visiting today with a sexy, DD, called Winning Sadie!

Excerpt:

I walked with plodding footsteps first to Simon’s bedside drawer to get the key to the safekeeping place, then to the bathroom. In the top left hand drawer on Simon’s side of the vanity, lay the neat row of implements. Simon wasn’t tempted to buy more, he said, because so far we had all we need. He didn’t want to mark or injure me, he just wanted to remind me who was boss. Besides if our collection wasn’t enough to deliver his message, there was always a belt handy.

I carried the hairbrush back to him, balanced on my upturned hands. He’d pulled a small stool in front of him and watched me with cool detachment. My heart sank. He’d only used that stool once before, when he was delivering a spanking of particularly long duration. He’d had me kneel on it and drape my body across his left knee. He pinned my legs with his right leg. The stool was so I could slide back and take breaks at intervals decided entirely by him.

I knew my confession of doubts wasn’t going to go down easy with him but I hadn’t expected anything this dire. Not the stool and an implement.

He put his hand out for the hairbrush. I gave it to him and he held it up to me. I kissed the back of it, part of the hairbrush ritual.

“Sit.” He motioned to the stool.

I frowned, not understanding.

“Sit on the stool, back to me.”

“Clothes on?”

“Clothes on.” He nodded, his face expressionless.

I sat between his legs, my head barely reaching his waist.

“Keep your hands in your lap,” he instructed.

I folded them together like a birds’ nest and reminded myself to breathe. In the next moment, he started brushing my hair. He wasn’t going to spank me. He had only wanted to scare me with the over the knee comment. I sagged, partly with relief, partly with disappointment.

“What’s worrying you, my love?” He drew the hairbrush past the base of my neck and down the length of my hair.

“You said once that I was never to embarrass you in public or in private. That it was just good manners not to. On our first date you spanked me for embarrassing you.” I gripped my hands tightly at the memory. “But over the past few days, I have to tell you that I’ve said many, many stupid things to your friends and business acquaintances. Things that I know would shame both me and you. I can’t live by that rule of not embarrassing you. I can’t even not embarrass myself. I don’t belong in your world.” My voice sank to a whisper.

The brush started again at the top of my head, genuine boar bristles massaging my scalp. It felt heavenly and I tried to imagine life without Simon. A nightmare.

PK Corey brings another great “Cassie” excerpt!

I love PK Corey’s Cassie series. They are fun and sweet, and romantic. And they are about an older couple. Which makes me so happy!! I love this series so much, and can’t wait to read Cassie Corralled.

Excerpt:

I could not believe what Tom was saying. “You will not!” I stormed. “I have done nothing wrong and you are not going to spank me and I don’t have to go anywhere against my will. Take me home. You can’t spank me for nothing.”

Tom made no comment and the ensuing silence was thick. We rode on without speaking for the near hour it took to reach the house. The company where Tom works now rents this house where we lived for seventeen years. Clients and visiting VIP’s stay here so it was beautifully decorated for Christmas, but I barely saw it as Tom took my hand and led me quickly to our old bedroom, a small overnight bag in his other hand.

I hate being spanked when Tom is truly upset with me – and he was. I hate it even more when I feel I’ve done nothing wrong. My overall success rate at getting out of a spanking once we’ve reached this point is probably less than a fraction of a percent – but I’m not one to go down without a fight.

“I don’t know what’s got your drawers wound so tight, but you have no business spanking me. I haven’t broken any of your silly rules. I haven’t lied to you about anything. I forgot to take a pill one day! That is nothing to spank me about. What’s wrong with you?

Tom said nothing so I went on, “Are you mad because I’ve been busy lately? I’ve had to take care of Sue and it’s December! Things are happening. I guess you’d rather me be chained in the house, but when you want to do something you can go anywhere, anytime. And this big, important party tonight – why are you so insistent on going? Who’s going to be there that you want to be with more than Annie and Andy?”

I hate to even repeat this next part, but you have to understand I was just mad and on a roll. “Have you found another woman?” I stormed. “You want to show her she doesn’t have to worry about your old hag of a wife?”

I saw it, the hurt on Tom’s face just before it turned to anger. I tried to save it, “Tom, I’m sorry,” I backpedaled. “You know I didn’t mean that. I just…”

“I think that’s a darn good place to start.” He pulled me to the bed and quickly and none too gently pulled down both my slacks and panties at the same time. He began spanking quickly with his hand, but not terribly hard. This wasn’t a good sign; he was actually giving a warm up which told me he was going to take his time.

Meet PK Corey

I’m a small town southern writer, happily married to my best friend for thirty-two years now. We have two grown children and we’re learning to love the empty nest. Next year will see the end of a long and satisfying teaching career and I’m anxious to spend more time writing. I didn’t grow up with the desire to be a writer, but I did love to daydream. As a child, I spent most of my spare time, and quite a bit of time when I should have been doing schoolwork, either reading or making up stories. I was actual quite young when Cassie wandered into my head and began telling me her story. I’ve always been drawn to spanking stories, but I need a true love story with it. That’s how I see Cassie and Tom – a true love story with spanking thrown in.

A taste of “Loving Liam” with Alyssa Bailey

Alyssa Bailey is visiting today with her brand new story, Loving Liam. This is the third in the O’Connor’s series, and sounds great!  Here she is.

Excerpt:

“Jos, are you okay? I am here, mo ghrá.”

“Liam, I guess you will have to come get me, I hydroplaned into the ditch, and I hit my head on the steering wheel. I’m okay. But, I cannot get out of the ditch. I’m sorry. I am so sorry. I should have listened to you. I know you are angry.” The tears flowed. Her words garbled.

“Jocelyn, hush honey. Let me know where you are, so I know where to look.” Liam’s voice held concern, but was gentle and soothing, which made Jocelyn want to cry even more.

“Umm, I’m passed the Walter’s place, but not the Morgan’s place. Does that help?”

“Yep, so keep talking to me baby, and I will be on you soon. Keep your lights on.”

The next moments were tense as Liam coaxed conversation out of Jocelyn while he searched for her car. She was crying uncontrollably now even as he closed the distance. Once upon the vehicle, he was able to relax. He had been gripping the steering wheel so hard that he had to peel his hands off. He also thought grimly, they would be having a conversation about this event. He expected that if she were not hurt more than a bump on her head, she would be having a warm bottom session later this afternoon. He shook his head. This woman was the most exasperating woman he had ever known and he loved her desperately. She had the power to anger and excite him at the same time. What could you do with a woman like that, but be as passionate about life as she was and hold on for the ride?

Author Bio

Alyssa Bailey is a dyed in the wool Texan living in the beauty of Southeast Alaska with her husband, her youngest four (of eleven) children, two dogs and two cats. Her first memory of books was when her mother read to her as a small child. She began writing as soon as she could put letters together to form words. Her first story at the age of six was about a performing horse that ran away from the circus. As she got older and read more of a variety of books, she would say, “I can do better than that” and then rewrite them in her head. She was writing fanfiction before fanfiction was a ‘thing’.

In high school and college, she won journalism and special recognition for her academic and fictional writing. Alyssa is a firm believer in all things spanking. She loves writing about domestic discipline and power exchanges between strong, intelligent women who are not afraid to make a stand and men confident enough to give them their space but Alpha enough to keep his woman safe, in spite of herself. Her characters predominately live in Regency England amongst lords and ladies, in the contemporary realm amongst men and women of the world, and all things Cowboy. Contact her, she loves to chat, and as always, have a Spankolicious day!
